Colorado Line

This was one of the Missouri Pacific's major lines. It connected St. Louis, Kansas City and Pueblo, Colorado. At Pueblo it connected with other lines that could take the passenger all the way to California. The main stations in Scott County was at Scott City. In earlier years, there were other stops in Scott County. In the later years of passenger service on this line, the train didn't stop at any of these. In 1911, a rail line was built north from Scott City to Winona, where it connected with the Kansas Pacific. It was abandoned in 1917. I don't know whether it had any passenger service.
